The following settings should work
unset USE_PYTHONCONFIG
export PYTHONHOME=/afs/cad.njit.edu/linux/anaconda-2.1.0/anaconda
export PYTHONVERSION=2.7
export PYTHONLIBTYPE=a
export EXTRA_LIBS=-lnwcutil
