It looks like the preferred method of installing NWChem is via MinGW, which according to the notes uses the 32-bit libraries (at least it looks that way).
What is the preferred environment for a Win 7 64-bit environment? MinGW-64 appears to want to do this via cygwin, but it is not obvious how the correct environment gets set up from the cygwin 64 installer.
Anyone else tried this, or does NWChem not work with a linux subenvironment in a Win 7 64-bit implementation?

We do not have a working port of NWChem on Windows 64-bit.

You just saved me hours of trying to patch all this together!
I assume that if I use the standard install, then 32-bit packages (like pthreads-32) should work as advertised?
