I'm using the pre compiled ECCE in a VM running CentOS7.
I'm able to start ECCE, but the Bulder module is not working. When I try to open it I see a pop-up asking me to report the bug and this error message:
Starting ECCE ... please wait
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
(Details: serial 1968 error_code 2 request_code 153 minor_code 24)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Any ideas?

As a general rule you have to compile ECCE yourself these days or it will not run properly. See if the problem persists or goes away.
